2005 Dodge 2500.

Gets the annual floor mat dumping and a towel slapped across the dash...

if the wife wants to ride with me and the dog, maybe I'll slap her seat a couple of times and make out like I just dry cleaned it for her!

I guess beteen all of the fish slime, deer blood, mud and everyday dust, it's about time I TRY to clean her up a little.

Looking for recommendations for cleaning. I have a rainbow vac so sucking up cleaning suds isn't going to be a problem. The nearest "car wash" is about 30 miles away.

...and I don't mind making the wife scrub pretty hard (either) if that's what it takes!

I picked up some Turtle Wax Power Out. It sprays on in a thick foam and has a scrubber brush built into the cap. Spray it on, scrub the cloth, let it dry (pretty fast drying stuff) and then vacuum the residue.
Worked fine on my seats & carpet.

I usually just get a bucket of warm water and a little Simple Green or dishwashing soap and start scrubbing with a nylon brush. The same thing goes for the carpet, but the carpet floor mats I wash and rinse at the carwash with high pressure then lay them in the bed for the sun to dry them. I have tried "Resolve" and nearly all the spray on and foaming automotive fabric cleaners and they don't seem to work any better. I have a Nissan Titan with 153K miles and have not had a single problem and am very happy with it, but the seats are pretty hard to clean. The kids really make a mess and I think I'm getting leather next time!

I'm not being sarcastic , but stop by a local used car dealership or auto detailing shop and ask what they use. They might have a 'secret weapon' or stuff the average Joe don't know about.

Save yourself some trouble. Give 'em a few bucks and let them clean it

take the pressure washer to it!

(It's a toss up if this is my favorite power tool, or the grinder!? The dewalt cordless drill ranks right up there...)

I have hubby yank the seat out, then I spray it with oil eater if it's greasy, or regular liquid laundry detergent dissolved in water, sometimes both, give it a scrub with a brush or a rolled up rag. Then, just spray it down with the pressure washer til the water runs clear and no bubbles.

We're semi-arid country here, so things dry out really quickly.

it fluffs up the carpet, too, if you care to take that out.

BUT, I wouldn't do it if one has those seat warmers or any of those electric gadgets in the seat.

(hubby has a fascination with $100 cars, and they tend to not be very clean! So, I'm not afraid to get pretty agressive cleaning them out.) Can't complain about the price when he drives them for several years!

if it's just mildly dusty and doesn't need too much, one can always take the spray nozzle on the air compressor to it, too. dusts quite nicely, and works well on stuffed animals and dried florals! lol!
