I am trying to find a cleaning cloth I used several years ago and can't think of the name of it now that I don't have it. It was a cloth impregnated with some cleaner/preservative and it came in a ziploc type bag. It was a slight yellow color and came folded over several times and the package was about 4" x 6". It worked great on stainless revolvers. You could just wipe away the residue from the cylinder face and breach face with no effort. I can't for the life of me remember the name of it and the original bag was thrown away. Any ideas?

I'm picking up my first revolver, a 686-3, in a few days and was wondering this myself.....thanks!

A tip for the new guy s here:

Immediately after I finish shooting I wipe my guns down with a Micro-fiber cloth that I soaked with my favorite gun cleaner & lube (Rig #2 Oil) and keep in a heavy duty zip lock bag in my Range bag. It takes almost all the powder residue, carbon, and dirt off the external parts and makes it much easier to clean when I get it home. From time to time I re-wet the cloth and replace it when it gets too dirty. Remoil also works very well for those who use that.

Thicker oils don't work as well for this purpose.

Lead - A - Way Cloths work well and are useful in removing heavy lead and carbon however I would NOT use it on a regular basis to just routinely wipe down a gun at the end of a shooting session at the Range.
