Anyone else watching the game? Since my Tigers won today, I don't have a dog in this hunt as far as rooting for a particular team, BTW.

So far, it's looking to me like Clemson is getting their butts thoroughly manhandled. Conversely Ohio State's looking pretty good.

To me, it seems that since the ACC is so soft this year, Clemson hasn't been thoroughly tested by fire this year like either OSU or LSU, with both of those teams being in very strong conferences. Anyone else feel that way?

Obviously, I am a Buckeye fan and I am pulling for them. But when you get to this point, these are very good teams (well, except Oklahoma). It is not over until it is over. When I was younger, I always wanted my teams to hang a big one on the other team. Now that I am older and see these are very young men with a lot of emotion in the games, I feel for the losing team. Just getting to be an old softy (excluding Alabama and Michigan).

I like both teams, I was a good game. I didnt watch much of the LSU game.

Very disappointed in the Buckeyes' performance. They probably would have won in the last minute of the game had there not been an interception by Clemson. Very strange on ESPN - No commentary at all from the talking heads (there weren't any talking heads except at halftime), just the stadium announcer. No superimposed scrimmage or first down lines, and all the coverage was from a single skycam.

Chris Fowler and Kirk Herbstreit called the game on ESPN. I think you were watching the ESPN2 supplemental coverage they had last night on both games featuring split screens, live running stats, etc. We had both playing but with the sound turned down on the ESPN2 coverage.

PS. Looking at this closer, You may have been watching the SKYCAST feed on ESPNNEWS. That sounds closest to what you are describing. There were 10 different ESPN Feeds last night.

I am really glad we have the 4-team playoffs for college football.

In the old days, Ohio St. would have gone to the Rose Bowl and destroyed Oregon and been the consensus National Champion.

The new system is a lot better, but still not perfect. I think there were 3-4 other teams that could have been the #4 seed.

That was probably the reason, but I didn't check. Nonetheless it was interesting to watch it that way, as I had to watch the action more closely without someone constantly telling me what was happening.

Perhaps the best game I’ve seen in a long time.
Looking forward to the cat fight now. It promises to be very good, also!

Great game. I'll admit to a bad taste in my mouth for quite a while regarding OSU but their performance in a tough conference over the season impressed me. Their drives that chewed the clock in the 3rd and 4th made me think they had the game in hand.
Missed opportunities and the strip fumble reversal (I thought it was a catch) were tough but Clemson did what they had to do.
One thing bugged me... what did the groundskeepers spray paint the field green with, olive oil?

As a Wisconsin Badger, I was happy with the Clemson win. Now, it is time for Wisconsin to finally win the Rose Bowl. I have several Rose Bowl sweatshirts I bought before the game and Wisconsin lost each time, 2000, 2011, 2012, 2013 [ 3-peat].

What do Ohio State and Hillary Clinton have in common?
