You need to add a S&W 25-2, 45acp or a 610, 10mm to your collection, then you'd at least know what a clip was.

You guys must have a pretty bad case of cabin fever if you can't think of anything better to discuss/debate than a topic like this. Who cares what you call the darned thing? Never use the dumb things myself, all my S&W's are revolvers!

A clip is what you get when you go to see the Mohel.

I know the difference, and I use the right word, but I'm not going to beat up somebody who asks about the clip for his Glock. I know what he's talking about. There was a time when I didn't know the difference and whoever explained it to me, was kind, and didn't beat me up for it.

"For with what judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you." Matthew 7:2

I learned to go with the flow years ago, being taught to do so by the best, my wife.

One time she slaughtered the correct terminology on something, I don't even remember what it was,
and when I corrected her she looked at me and said, in a matter of fact way.
I knew what I meant......

That exchange effectively put an end to my anal retentivness when it came to correcting others on terminology.
After all, as long as "I knew what they meant," what difference does it make, really......

Clips, clips, clips . . .

Some are named after the moon, others after paper, still others after a roach . . . and even some of them after strippers!:D

Heck, I've even been in a few CLIP joints in my life!

Yes I understand, magazines contain ammo, clips clip rounds together. But sometimes I like to call mags clips. Why? For the same reasonI also like to deliberately mispronounce Gorganzola, faux, depot, and various other words, it makes some people so upset they almost foam at the mouth.

"You called your rifle what!!!??? Drop....drop cockroach! your gonna do pushups till I puke!"........My D.I. 1st day basic
