Check out the photos I'm attaching. On the left is my Ruger Speed Six from 1981 and on the right is my Smith 13-2 from 1980. Speedies were made from 1972 to 1988 (when they morphed into the GP100s) and then the Model 13s were made from 1974 to 1999 (as a magnum version of the Model 10).

They look very similar and it got me thinking it would be fun to see photos of other "clones". Let's see more photos of different revolvers from two different manufacturers that look and feel very similar...

Smiths look like a lot of Astras and Taurus.

I have a charter arms undercover .38 special, and I had an old 1960's smith and wesson 36 snubby, they were virtually identical except the Charter arms uses a transfer bar, and the smith had a hammer mounted firing pin.

IMO the 60's and 70's charter arms are as good as the 36's and much cheaper.

I've been real tempted to get one of the old Undercovers. I have their Police Bulldog from 1975 and it's one of my favorite shooters.
