I realize the fact that this is a 1969 model will mean some (most?) of you aren't as interested. I bought this second-hand some time ago when I didn't know what pre-'64 meant. I liked the lighter wood as opposed to the usual dark walnut. Once I educated myself on the difference between pre and post 1964 I never planned on selling because I knew I'd never get anything close to what I paid for it. But, circumstances being what they are I don't have much choice. Sell it I must - I'm not in a position to entertain any trade offers.
To answer the next question, to the best of my knowledge the wood has not been refinished. I have also taken a close up picture of the right side of the action, which is the poorer side when it comes to the finish. I wouldn't want any of you to think I'm trying to hide something or present this rifle as something it's not.
I'm asking $350 with shipping of $40. If you live in the greater Puget Sound area I will be more than amenable to a face to face meeting; just bring ID and your concealed carry license. Oh, and cash.
If you think this outrageously overpriced I won't be insulted if you send a private message with an offer, but the usual Forum guidelines outlined in the stickies at the top of the thread apply - "I'll take it" followed by a private message trumps "I have a question, private message sent" or "offer made, private message sent."
Thank you for your time.
