How have folks been satisfied with the CMMG kits and their M&P15s?

I have one on order, but, I've not done too much with it. My crappy JAC kit "works" when it wants to on my old DPMS, but, I have no intention of salvaging that setup for my new MOE.

Thoughts?

I have the CMMG Bravo conversion kit (stainless) It came with the mag with the steel feed lips. It has worked great so far. I have a 15-22, so it isn't my first choice for 22 plinking, but I wanted my AR to have the capability as well. It's not that accurate, but then, neither am I.

You don't want to leave the kit in the rifle after shooting and most will recommend shooting a few 223 after you are done with the 22 just to help blow out any gunk that might have gotten into the gas tube. You'll also want to clean the rifle.

Can't speak to just the conversion kit, as I have the dedicated upper. Bought it as a complete rifle from CMMG. Mine has the phosphate finish, so had a little trouble with it until it was good and broke in.

It is not as reliable as my son's M&P 15-22, but still runs good. Mine likes to be kept fairly dry. Too much oil has led it to firing out of battery. It does require a little CLP from time to time in an afternoon to keep it going. With the dedicated .22lr barrel, it is accurate and fun.
