link wouldn't work on my chromebook - how much did they bring? I saw a pair bring around $800 recently.

A couple of years ago I asked George Dye of Salt Lake Collectibles to find
me a really nice set of Coke Bottle Grips, and he did.

They are like new, perfect and beautiful. I think I paid $425 for them.

My favorite handgun wears them, my 1960 6 1/2" M27.

Twins ;) It matches my 1964 6 1/2" M29-2.

I was watching the "Coke" auction, it started at $300 and at $701 it was just between two bidders, adult beverages may have been involved, but more likely...egos. There was a much nicer pair offered the previous week for $675 and apparently sold for less than that as best offer was accepted. I have noticed that the auctions with a low start bid seem to do better in the long run.

Grips

I bought a prewar 38/44 HD at a gunshow for $550. It had been buffed and reblued, just a shooter. The icing was it was sporting a nice pair of prewar Magnas. I pulled the Magnas and sold the gun a week later for $600 to a gentleman that was looking for a shooter.

Kenny,
George definitely found you a beautiful pair of Cokes. Just wondering if you might be like myself though. When I think something happened a couple of years ago, if I really think about it, it might be more like 6-7 years ago. Why, because time flies when you're having fun........or as we get older!:)
