Did S&W make cokes for k frame revolvers, or were they only for N-frame?

The short answer is ...N Frames only.

And then mainly for the .44 cals.

The long answer is that supposedly there were a few made in K frame on a test basis. I cannot confirm this.

It's easy to fit N frame stocks to a K frame and apparently it was all too common. I have two sets of Cokes and a set of dual relief Combat stocks that were butchered like that (not by me). They do make nice user stocks, but I wouldn’t recommend the modification.

I wonder if the previous owners heard the swooshing sound as about $600 worth of combined value went spiraling down the old Ferguson?

I'm not buying into the "short answer". I will agree that they were primarily supplied on 44 magnums. But they are also pretty common on the uncommon 41 maggie. And there have been a number of reports of them on other large caliber N frame guns.

So my long answer is on magnums starting with a 4.
