Cold Dead Hands

Collateral damage

Howdy,
He just screwed Steve Carell out of some money because I kinda wanted to see the new magician movie.
Thanks
Heartless Mike

I never understood his humor. interesting though that his earliest role that i know of was in a dirty harry movie. the dead pool. quite appropriate for this forum.

I won't blame Jim Carrey for being an idiot if he won't blame me for owning a gun... :D

This is rich! The apparent fact that so many smart folks were BAMBOOZLED by a piece of satire and now feel abused, reveals the simplistic level of social interaction that passes for intellectual intercourse in the 21st C.
THERE! I said it! Am I serious? Does anyone know? Do they really CARE?

and POOR STEVE CARELL!!!!

I didnt' see it, don't feel abused and am glad something was revealed to you... I don't know and am not sure if I care if you're serious... :D

I heard this being discussed on Fox News and went to Youtube to see it. It was poorly done, not the least bit amusing, and so typical for the left wing, anti gun crowd. They think they are so clever, and smarter than those who disagree with them. I understand their pathetic fear of guns but that doesn't make it any less pathetic. Charlton Heston was a class act, and a real life hero. He didn't just play heroes in movies; he believed in the civil rights movement and went to the deep south in this cause when it truly risked your life to do so. He stood firm for American values, most notably our 2nd Amendment. To mock him now that he is gone and cannot speak for himself is vile.

Who pays any attention to Jim Carrey anyway? The last movie he made worth watching was "Dr Doolittle" where he could talk to animals. ...What?...That wasn't Jim Carrey?

Look, you can poke fun at anything in my book. A man can take a joke even if it isn't funny. And Jim is in America, I 100% support his right to say what he wants. I'll pay to see any movie he is in if it looks good. I don't give a second thought to what the rich say, even if supports my argument. America is middle and lower class, upper class hasn't a clue.

That aside, that skit just plain wasn't funny.

Does anyone remember the movie where the hippo pooped Carrey? That's the first thing I think of whenever I hear his name!

He made some crack on Twitter about being appalled at gun owners. I'm appalled that anyone cares what a foul-mouthed, 3rd-rate ham actor thinks about anything.

Greg Gutman (Fox News) said it best, why would you listen to anyone who makes a career out of speaking from his "rectal orifice" (this actually was a Carrey character in one of his repulsive, toilet humor movies).

Yup. When I want an opinion on an important public policy issue, the first guy I go to is somebody who is famous for portraying a blithering idiot.

I try to view things like this objectively ... I feel I did well prior to responding ....
the boy has jumped the shark and his formerly talented humor has long since been replaced by arrogance.
