Cold Rainy Day Off

So my son and I spent the better part of the day watching Lonesome Dove. Non-stop from the Blu-Ray he got for my birthday recently. Pretty cool to share good cowboy movies with your son. The bride was out of town, so we could turn it up as loud as we wanted to. Good day off.

I live about 100 miles south of you.

Rain gauge ran-over at five inches this weekend.

Thunder and lighting all last night.

I rarely get a holiday type weekend off. Been kinda strange just sitting around. Too wet to do anything but some honey-doo's inside the house.

I'm jealous that you had some quality time with your son. My boys are now married with kids and live out of state. Your post reminds me of when we would all watch "Cool Hand Luke" every Christmas when they were home from college.

Love that Lonesome Dove series.

My son is 22. The oldest is out of state, married , with kids. I value the time left at home with this one.
