A friend of mine has these and asked me if I knew where to sell them and what they might be valued at.

They look nicer than some I’ve seen but I’m not really a buckle collector and haven’t followed prices.

Thanks!

Really not sure myself on values, but if you throw these up on this forum's classifieds section I'm sure you would find at least a handful of interested buyers. Off the top of my head, price-wise, maybe $40-$60 per buckle, since they look in great shape and have the boxes. Others hopefully will come along and give better guidance on prices if I am incorrect.

Tell your friend, Nice buckles, Linda. I wear the .357 magnum cylinder buckle still today. I think I bought it when I was in college.

These buckles are missing the descriptive brochure that came with them and that effects collector value, so any prospective buyer would probably be looking at them as wearable buckles. Currently, as posted, probably $25 - $35 range would be fair price. If you check Ebay sales as a guide, be sure add the shipping costs to the buyers payment as those costs are rapidly rising. ( I'm assuming the 125th anniversary. buckle is the pewter variety and not the sterling silver. ) Ed

Well all that gun stuff is nice but......................

I sort of like the BIG Cowboy Buckles hanging off of my belts.........

Sorry.

Dunlap's Syndrome (aka Dunlap's Disease).

Pseudonymic Scientific name for condition:
Where the belly 'dun laps' over the belt.

Everybody( just about) knows about dunlap. Old friend’s Dad was a Bob. Friend bought his Dad a buckle with BOB on it, his Dad asked what the deal was, friend told him it was not his name but “ belly over belt”. His Dad never wore the buckle, lol.

Paid about $74 for my ANIB with everything. Put the box away and wear it now and then. Bought another for a friend. "Last Cartridge"

I don’t consider myself a S&W Buckle collector, even though I have a few, but I have found this booklet very helpful in identifying the ones I do have. The 99 page booklet does not indicate how to obtain one ( I believe I received mine from Ed while attending a symposium), but maybe Ed or someone else here may be able to give information.
Dave

Here’s some updated photos with boxes and paperwork. When I first photo’d the group I didn’t pick them up or even look for a brochure or hang tag.

They are all “new in the box” with hang tags. Boxes have some storage wear.

Here’s a picture of my “collection” of original Smith and Wesson Belt Buckles, gathered in the late 70s- to early 80s? All are either BNIB or ABNIB including hang tags when produced with one. I even saw one with the original receipt from when I bought it at Charles Greenblatt. They are all very unique works of art!

Thanks for all the comments… the buckles are all listed on this forum in the “for sale, accessories section”.

Any one of them would make a great a”Father’s Day” gift.
