Colt M1908 Gloat Thread

Has anyone else heard that the .32's work better than the .380's? I've read that. Can't recall where.

I had not heard that but would be interested in learning the answer. I don't know if the frame/magazine modifications associated with the "M" stamp or punch mark were restricted to the .380s, or if the .32s had similar problems.

I have a 32 an a 380. Both shoot very well. I've read where you can change the barrel and magazine of the 380 to 32 and it will function fine as a 32. I tried it the other way and that will not work. 380 magazine will not fit in a 32 frame. I have the extra 380 barrel and mags to prove it..............Rifleman magazine did a write up on these guns years ago. As the others have stated a near perfect pocket gun. Yours is as nice as I've ever seen.
