Recently purchased a Colt New Service .45 Colt Revolver.
Revolver had Stag Grips on it with the right grip a home made replacements.
On line information manufacture date was -1928+.
Routine cleaning I discovered under the home made grip was the pattern for the grip. It was cut from a post card dated 1933.
The revolver had been well taken of during its life.
I am very pleased with it and its in one of my favorite calibers-.45 Colt.
