Greetings all! Thanks to the many "enablers" here, I have been searching for "birth-year" revolvers. I don't need to find a BIRTHDAY revolver so I have been happy to come across some in my birth-year range. That lands me right in the sweet spot of Model-marked, 4-screw revolvers. This one probably misses on the correct year BUT I just could not pass it up.
It is a Model 19 (no-dash) w/ 4th screw. It bears ser# K421358, that the 4Th Edition puts about 1960. If anyone's data gets me closer, I'd appreciate it. Though a "no-dash", it does appear to have the left-hand extractor rod?. Just the very slightest turn line and screws appear untouched. Overall bright blue, it must have led a very pampered existence. Factory Diamond targets are stunning (to my eyes anyway). Thanks for letting me share! I apologize in advance for my photos

Very nice, don't think I've seen a 19 no dash before, certainly never one for sale locally. Appears to be in very good condition, the recoil shield certainly doesn't show much use. Enjoy.

A very nice Combat Magnum Model 19, with what are probably original GA target stocks. It's a dandy.

I believe you are in the ballpark. My list would indicate shipment in 1960, maybe early 1961.

Mine is # K 358063, shipped 2-1960, to the Williams Gun Sight Company. It is also a 19-0, or no dash. Big Larry

I looked for a 4 screw Combat Magnum, model marked or not, for many years. Some would call it my holy grail gun. Finally found a "pre model". Great guns. Congratulations on the 19 ND.

I have a Model 19, K408000 range that shipped in April 1961 so yours probably shipped a couple of months later. The photo is unclear, but the extractor rod appears to have a right-hand thread. The Model 19-1, with an extractor rod with a left-hand thread, made its appearance in 1962.

That's an ACTUAL classic! Thanks for sharing.

IMHO the 4" square butt K frame Combat configuration is just about perfect.

Your eyes are better than mine. Good catch. I added another closeup of rod. Thanks for all the comments!
