Combat Masterpiece?

I'm thinking this is a 1950? CM 4"


Picked up a few repair jobs from my gunsmith and this was staring at me from the case.


Serial number 103***


Really nice shape with only a tiny ding in the S&W on the barrel, clean, tight and priced at the bible value which seemed just right! Matching magnas as well!



Anything special about the front sight? A little confused on the options.

That is a beautiful example of arguably the best gun S&W ever made. I said arguably, pipe down! That would definitely fetch a premium around here. Great score!

Nope, just light reflecting off of the ribs, it does look weird in the pics.
