If you're a subscriber Delete it!! It's junk. You don't need it. And make sure you uninstall GuardedID. More junk.
I recently switched to Firefox. Doing so required downloading Norton Security Suite again which Comcast provides at no additional charge. Constant Guard is also included.
It caused my computer to slow dramatically and to freeze for about two seconds constantly. At first I thought it was Firefox but after some investigation I found Constant Guard to be the problem.
After uninstalling both, my computer now works like it should. And Norton is still in the background working like it should.
Another two hours of my life wasted on a computer problem!
