I recently had a set of genuine Ivory stocks made by Dan Chesiak and I had them made to my specifications which were to have them made slightly beefier than the Factory grip spec's. This allows them to be used by me without the Tyler T grip which I usually have to install on my J Frames with Factory grips. Nothing against Tyler T adapters, but as long as I was having grips custom made, why not have them made for use without the T Grip if possible?

The slightly thicker Ivory grips are a bit too thick to use a traditional round speed loader with, but I never carry speed loaders anyway. I have always trained to load from a leather drop pouch or a Bianchi Speed Strip.
