Guantanamo Detainees May Be Released in U.S.

By EVAN PEREZ

WASHINGTON -- Attorney General Eric Holder said some detainees being held at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, may end up being released in the U.S. as the Obama administration works with foreign allies to resettle some of the prisoners.

Mr. Holder, in a briefing with reporters, said administration officials are still reviewing individual cases of the approximately 250 detainees to determine which will be put on trial and which may be released to comply with plans to close the detention facility by next year

Listening to NPR today they had a story about Bin Laden's latest communique:

Not in this link was some discussion about 9 Somali teenagers who could not be found in Minneapolis (large Somali population) and it was feared they had left to train with Al Queda, and would be back in the U.S. to carry out their training. The question was would they be allowed back into the U.S.?

If you follow the posted statement by the OP, why not, they are just turning their lives around, getting an education, etc. (this assumes

that is where the teenagers went?)

We can send them to DC, right next to all the congressmen and senators. But they'd probably fit and right in and no one in DC would even know the difference.
