Coming from that part of the world ....at that time of WW2 most of those countries deserved what they got. Just one battle on the Eastern front had on the axis side....

Quite correct. I'm currently reading a great book written about one single Panzer division serving on the Eastern Front on its way to destruction in Stalingrad. It gives great day-by-day histories of what happened-names of the wounded and dead, battle booty-medals awarded and what Panzers were available for action and such. Right now the "Leaping Horsemen" division is attacking through the Romanians positions through a gully on its way to capture some State farms. Gives details on the German's enemy captured and dead as well.
