I was listening to the news today. I occurred to me that the terms: "Common Sense Gun Laws" or "Common Sense Laws"are being thrown about, rather willy nilly! While I agree that the mass shooting of any group of unarmed individuals is horrific. The problem is not one that can be regulated out of existence. What we need is not more laws but more "Common Sense". Which, sadly, does seem to have been regulated out of existence.

Hopefully this is not going to get me a nastygram from the head shed. But I need to get it off my chest and this seemed like the place to do it. Just my thoughts and not designed to be overly controversial.

What is being attempted now, is born from emotions, ergo the antithesis of sense. And, even when not driven by emotion, it is driven by ignorance.

the media loves to use adjectives that will intensify the event. the greater fear and drama will encourage the gullible to firmly believe that "the sky is falling", all hope is lost and panic is the only option.....

The ones touting "Common Sense" gun laws are the same ones who tolerate no common sense at all when it arguing for any other laws.
