Compact/Shield Barrel Question

Will a 9mm Compact barrel work on a 9mm Shield??

I wouldn't think so but I've never even seen a Shield.

They are quite different aren't they????

No, the Shield barrel is shorter and the design is quite different when compared to the Compact. Not even a close match.

What about a 9FS barrel in a 9C? would that work?
