Just thought I would share a couple of pictures of my "Toy Room" that I built under the front porch. Walls are re-barred every 6 inches both ways and lapped over into the top slab pour to tie it together, added a Fort Knox Vault door and the estrogen free zone was officially complete. :D Made the walnut strips and pegs myself. Now when I say I'm going to my happy spot, it is a real place. My sons and I spend a lot of time just sitting on the floor in here talking while we oil guns.

Sweet! Great looking group of guns, what a wonderful man cave. Looks like you can arm the neighborhood when the Zombies attack!

I entertained myself just trying to identify all i could see. The PS90 almost looks out of place with all those 'classics'. Of course in 50 years we will think the PS90 is a classic old gun as well.

Where are the crates of ammo stored?

Hidden room in the basement. The door to ammo looks like nothing more than the pool cue rack. (50,000+). I have four teenagers; we get a real kick out of their friends faces when the make there first trip to the man cave.

The PS 90 had to go on the pistol wall because it was too short for the pegs.

very well done, i'm putting one of these together soon.

i'm having it done right, can't wait.....

Wow - it's like a bunker!

Put in a bathroom and you're set for whatever hits.

Holy Smokes Batman....You did a great job on that. Fantastic collection too. Please accept congratulations from a fellow Kentuckian.

Impressive collection, very nice "toy room" !!!

My ammo storage is a two bay garage.

You have a nicer and more extensive collection than Aberdeen Prooving Ground. Be careful about introducing neighbor kids/friends of your children to the "cave."

Is that "L or U" shaped. In the pictures it looks like the stocks of some long guns are hidden by a corner in the foreground!?! That IS an awesome collection and cave.

It is "L" shaped. You walk in and turn left.

Very impressive, looks like one I used to have but most of mine were handguns and so it didn't take up as much room.

Anyway, I second Dans emotions on being careful. There was an older gentleman around here several years ago that had a rather large and expensive Colt SA revolver collection. One of his daughters ex-boyfriends killed him and took a couple of them to sell for drugs.

Beautiful toy room! I'd like to do something like that, but probably never will.

Three words of advice:
