You almost have to search daily. Two weeks ago I was searching the web and Midway had large and small pistol primers and two powders I use (pistol) so I grabbed some. Unfortunately they limited customers to 1k of the two size primers and 2lb of each powder. I bought my limit needless to say but the next day they had sold out.
I only load pistol calibers and use cast lead or polymer coated and there are still some smaller suppliers with plenty. Fortunately I keep a pretty good supply of primers, powder and bullets so I'm good to go for a while.
You just need to check suppliers every day and be prepared to pay retail.
