Why when I open someones link to a story, do I get a message you are being redirected? Thanks

Because the management have configured the site that way.

It is their way to warn you that you are leaving the forun and all the privacy it affords us.

It is a recent change to how the forum works. Nothing to worry about though. For what it’s worth, I, and I assume most members, just click on through.

Does the new system give the same warning if you click on the tabloid ads in the left margin? I'm afraid to risk finding out by clicking on them. They look unsafe.
