Finally after me 2 month wait I am taking the class tomorrow, what's best is 4 of my friends are taking as well. Then just the long wait to get the license.

What Jay said, just be realistic about what you intend to carry.
This may be nice.

But this is the one that goes with me everyday.

Thanks guys, class was great, Bill Regina was teacher and was awesome. I bought a Foxx hybrid a month ago and love it, takes a little time to put it on, but I forget I even have it. I have Ben carrying around my farm to get used to it.

IDPA is a fantastic way to practice dynamic shooting with your new carry setup. Practicing at a square range is only half of the equation. Find a range that will let you draw from the holster and practice your draw until its automatic. Work reloads (both emergency and tactical) and malfunction clearing drills into your range session. also: dry fire is your friend!

CCW class are fine to get you started but a good defensive pistol class will really develop your skills.
