I just purchased my first handgun which was the sw9ve 9mm which i have had for a few weeks now and so far i absolutly love it!! It came with a belt holster and i just bought a shoulder holster for it and neither come even close to concealing it. Anyone know what the best holster to use for this that will help actually conceal it?

My Sigma was reasonably easy to conceal by wearing the belt holster with the belt on the -outside- of the holster. This allowed the rig to be snugged up close to the body.

I just ordered a Crossbreed Supertuck for my SW40VE. Although I haven't received it yet, I've heard and read some great things about this holster. 2 weeks to try it out and a life-time warranty for the original owner.

I use a Mika IWB and carry it in the appendix position. Whether this is comfortable is pretty subjective to the individual, however: it works like a dream for me.

I carry my SW9GVE in a Don Hume IWB with the two leather loops that snap around the belt.It fits very comfortable and stays secure and concealed.

Thats a good looking rig. Who is the maker?

Steve

That's just a DeSantis 001 T4 built for the S&W M&P pistol. Works fine with the Sigma. Can be carried cross draw or strong side. About $60.00 as I recall.

The loader which also happens to be in the picture is one of those MagLula loaders. Worth a million dollars for ease of loading almost any magazine.

sometimes I just put my Sigma in my belt and when I tighten the belt I do so to its tightest position....conceals nicely and is comfortable... I have some 511 pants that I wear...dark blue and black and when I wear them I just put the gun in the front pocket...the pocket is big enough to conceal the gun and the shape is fairly well disguised....so far no one has ever noticed I had it concealed.

FWIW, we don't let anyone use the range who wants to draw from clothing without a holster that covers the trigger. Too much chance of getting clothing inside the trigger guard.
Carrying a gun loose in purse or pocket often results in foreign objects finding their way into the gun.

I think that for a range it makes good sense. I have also seen trained pros, shoot themselves drawing from a holster...when I go to the range, the gun is in a carry case, unloaded and I load it at the range....few ranges I go too, don't even permit drawing and firing....I have to go to the police range to do that........I do no like to carry the gun in a belt, I rarely even carry the Sigma because I have not found a good concealable holster for it....I only pointed out how I carry because the topic was ways to carry....a holster is always better but a gun in a desk drawer is not a good way to carry....so bottom line is be careful when you carry and dont shoot yourself.......and only others when necessary
