Concealment Considerations

I carried a Seecamp as backup gun for 15 years first a .25 and then a .32. Yes they have second strike capability. Still carry either as a primary but only if deep concealment is needed and I can’t conceal a larger carry gun.
That is a nice looking holster OLDSTER.

JBull, Chief38 and others above made good points and I second them and add some of my opinions.
To address the OPs questions I think smaller is not better. Carry the biggest caliber gun you can conceal well and shoot proficiently. Practice practice and more practice with it. Carry spare ammo and practice reloads. Remember a bad magazine in a semi auto and you now are holding a single shot handgun. Practice shooting from the concealed draw if your range permits or practice it in dry fire if not. You don’t want to find out your gun snags on your shirt or you holster comes out of your pocket with the gun on the street ….
Try and stick with carrying in the same position all the time if you can. This will allow you properly getting the gun into your hand.
Whatever you carry, a good quality holster and gun belt is absolutely necessary! Don’t go cheap on leather. You should not have to be adjusting your gear when you get out of the car etc.
Just my 2 cents …..
