I think it speaks well for the members that we are a diverse and pretty well educated group, and are able to engage in coversation on varied topics, whatever they may be.
I have found ,so far, nothing but good folks here,I think it's great that we are able to interact this way, have humorous discussion threads, and we can learn a lot about an individual through these exchanges even though we may have never ,or may never actually meet, and are often thousands of miles apart.
What I have not seen here, and don't expect to see,are high and mighty wannabe "operators" who look down their noses at new members until they can show some "credentials", whatever that may be.

I don't see questions being answered with"Hit the search button, idiot." I see people who are knowledgeable and willing to share the information freely along with the knowledge that has been aquired over the years with experience.
We may argue certain points from time to time but it seems to always be done more respectfully than on other boards. Even talking about subjects other than guns can be educational and sometimes funny, whether it be outhouses(with which I am intimately familiar btw

or any other subject matter.
A sense of humor is essential to a happy life.We live in some troubled and dangerous times, but if we only allow ourselves to be "dead serious" all the time we will be miserable individuals. Stay healthy, work on your fighting skills, both with and without guns, and continue to share what you know with others.
The display of arrogance to others,to me,only reflects insecurity with yourself,no matter how good you think you are or how much you would like others to think you really know.
I don't see that on this forum,and hopefully I won't.
My apologies for the ramble.
