Was routing for the Lions (always). But they got outplayed by ohio, again.

Who ya thinking? Texas or Georgia?

I'm not quite sold on TX. GA thumped them soundly AT TX.

If GA beats TN in a few weeks, GA should be the odds-on fav to win it, IMO.

However, Oregon is floating out there on the Left Coast. They're dangerous, IMO.

Don't like either team, was rooting for the refs. :D

Me too. I was pleased to see that the NCAA football officials are all wearing the "RR" on their caps in tribute to the late Rogers Redding, who was a 30-year football official. He was the head of the NCAA football officials' organization prior to his passing. I knew Rogers when he was teaching at the University of North Texas, and we played many games of handball. I played handball for 40 years and was a decent player, but I never could beat him. He could track down and return even my best shots. His speed and agility were remarkable, and I'm sure they contributed to his long on-field career. He was a good guy and a great official. R.I.P., Rogers.

Once again, James Franklin proves he is not a tier 1 elite coach.

There are coaches out there doing more with less.

JMHO YMMV

How many titles did Harbough win at Michigan? One? He lost how many to Ohio State? Seems like it was several in a row or am I wrong on that?

I would think coaching at PSU is a lot like being at Bama. Fans are quick to point out the "good old days" under the previous coach. In Bama's case, both Bryant & Saban. Franklin lives under the statue of Paterno, not an easy thing to do.
