Was routing for the Lions (always). But they got outplayed by ohio, again.

Who ya thinking? Texas or Georgia?

I'm not quite sold on TX. GA thumped them soundly AT TX.

If GA beats TN in a few weeks, GA should be the odds-on fav to win it, IMO.

However, Oregon is floating out there on the Left Coast. They're dangerous, IMO.

Don't like either team, was rooting for the refs. :D

Me too. I was pleased to see that the NCAA football officials are all wearing the "RR" on their caps in tribute to the late Rogers Redding, who was a 30-year football official. He was the head of the NCAA football officials' organization prior to his passing. I knew Rogers when he was teaching at the University of North Texas, and we played many games of handball. I played handball for 40 years and was a decent player, but I never could beat him. He could track down and return even my best shots. His speed and agility were remarkable, and I'm sure they contributed to his long on-field career. He was a good guy and a great official. R.I.P., Rogers.

Once again, James Franklin proves he is not a tier 1 elite coach.

There are coaches out there doing more with less.

JMHO YMMV

How many titles did Harbough win at Michigan? One? He lost how many to Ohio State? Seems like it was several in a row or am I wrong on that?

I would think coaching at PSU is a lot like being at Bama. Fans are quick to point out the "good old days" under the previous coach. In Bama's case, both Bryant & Saban. Franklin lives under the statue of Paterno, not an easy thing to do.

Silent moment given.

I am really happy for Will Howard. Revenge is best served cold. I think OSU will get another shot at Oregon down the road in the Big Ten championship. They have the talent to take it all the way.

A lot of football left nothing is a sure thing.

It's the same old song and dance. Oh, this might be the year! They're top ranked! And then they finally play a quality Big10 team and lose.

I'm not a PSU fan. But if I was, I'd be questioning Franklin's abilities.

Back to the win by THE Ohio State. My mother would have been proud. I always felt sorry for the guy that sat in front of her at the home games. He usually left with sore shoulders from Mom pounding on him. She did hate Woody though. Well, hate might be a little strong of a word. His clothes line on the side line did turn it to strong dislike.

After 10 weeks of results, the 13-member College Football Playoff selection committee will reveal its first of six rankings at 7 p.m. ET on Tuesday.

I think it will mirror the AP.

All eyes are on the Ducks.

If I may...I am thoroughly enjoying this season. Between the new 12 team playoff system and the shuffling/expansion of conferences I am seeing parity in the Power Four.

Good times.
