Congratulations to the Patriots

Congrats to the Pat's. A truly exceptional team all around. Every player contributed including the undrafted rookie with the last interception. Tom Brady is well, Tom Brady an exceptionally gifted athlete with intelligence and common sense and a keen eye to read an opponent. These types come along very rarely - you basically are catching lightning in a bottle when you snag a Brady, Montana, Peyton Manning, Jerry Rice etc.

Most of the time you end up with a Ryan Leaf.

Again, Congrats to the Pats!

That young QB Wilson has one heck of a career ahead of him. Extremely talented and humble young man!

The exciting part of being a Seahawks fan is Russell Wilson. The last three seasons, fans have been treated to exciting games. Like the NFC championship game against GB and now the SB, Seattle fans are definitely getting their moneys worth. Some of the plays he makes and always at an unexpected times, you can't never count out the Hawks.

I like the Hawks and Pete Carroll is a very good Head Coach. That said, every once in a while he will call a play that makes no sense to me but he is the head coach and gets to make the decision. He also has to live with it. I think in this case Pete, got ahead of himself and thought the winning TD was in the bag - never envisioning Wilson (another outstanding QB) would get picked off, especially with the field position the Hawks were in at the time.
Well, it is Pete's decision to make - right or wrong. I say, cut him some slack - it's a long off season.

I do wish the Hawks would show some class without the antics in the end zone. When Vince Lombardi coached Green Bay if a player did any celebrating in the end zone he would have you dress for the next weeks game and sit you down and not play you for an entire game. If you got into the end zone for a TD - you handed the ball to the official closest to you and ran back to the sideline. Now, well you saw it - enough said.

Best part of the whole game was the look on Richard Sherman's face after the interception. Someone finally found a way to shut him up.

Too bad it couldn't have been another team to shut him up though. Well, maybe not the Steelers but any other team.

With guys like Sherman the attitude changes like night and day - almost if these types of guys are Bi-Polar. When they get drafted they are all smiles and spouting the usual "I'm just glad to be here. This team is awesome. I'll just do anything I'm asked cuz I'm a team guy", blah, blah, blah. A few years later you can end up with a Richard Sherman or the other Seattle knucklehead in the endzone at Superbowl 49. Now, there is some real problem children!

For all the haters of the New England Patriots, here is a little picture for all of you to look at.:D
