I was at my FFL's place to do a transfer when he pulled out a 1076 that he is considering selling. Until that moment I had no interest in getting into 10mm and I didn't know much about them. However, on second thought I began to think I need one! This one is in very average condition, while not beat up, it certainly is not excellent either. And, I'm assuming it is the regular commercial model and was not made for the FBI even though I didn't think to check whether or not it has a magazine safety disconnect. BTW, it did have the "read the instruction manual" notice. No price was quoted other than "figure out what you think it is worth and make me an offer". Here are my questions.
What range of value would you place on a good, average condition 1076 with 1 mag and no box etc.? Are aftermarket grips available that accommodate the frame mounted decocker? Is the 1076 any more or less desirable than the 1006? Are mags easy to find and reasonably priced?
