Convert sw40ve to sw9?

It seems like swapping the barrel, magazine, and maybe spring would do it. Has anyone done this, can it be done on my sigma?

Your breechface in the slide is different. I think Storm Lake or one of the barrel makers did offer a conversion barrel at one time. Not sure how well it worked, it required the extractor to catch the rim and still work with the smaller 9mm round.

No. In addition to the parts you have listed, you also need a new frame and slide. In other words, the whole gun. Oh, except the recoil spring: those are the same part number.

As pilot99 said, the magazines, frame openings, breech face, and distance to magazines catches are all different.

It is possible with careful hand fitting to convert to .357 SIG, if you can find a good barrel.
