Converting 41 Mag brass to 9.4 x 21mm Dutch

And I thought forming .450 Alaskan brass from .50/110 Winchester was tedious...
I am in awe of your dedication Dean.

I thought you could make 303 Savage out of 30-30 Win. Ivan

You can use .30-30 brass to form .303 Savage cases and I do, using just the .303 Savage FL sizing dies and trimming to length. However, the .303 Savage has a slightly larger base diameter than the .30-30. So I make a couple of turns of 1/4" wide masking tape around the base of the .30-30 cases prior to the first firing of the loaded cartridge. That acts as a centralizer to make the case expansion above the base uniform. The tape is not needed for subsequent reloadings. I have never had any problem with using such "fire-formed" .30-30 cases. .303 Savage cases can also be formed from .220 Swift brass, but it's a lot more work. I tried it, and went back to using .30-30 brass.

I always keep 30-30, 303 Brit, and 30-06 brass on hand with them you can form/make around 50% (maybe more) of the cases ever invented. Ivan
