Cool iphone app

Not sure I need it but it might be worth having on my new iphone in case someone lifts my phone....they just might decide to put it back where they go it....

That looks good enough to warrant buying the dang iPhone. I guess it pulls the temperature/elevation/humidity data right off the Web based on the GPS coordinates the phone sends the weather site? If it does, that is slicker than goose snot.

They are really cool gadgets,My best friend has one and showed me a few apps.I liked the star map thing that showed the stars that were out and identified them.
So much for being a boy scout,but I'll wager the stars will be there long after the Clark Belt will.

There are two other apps for the Droid, one is free and the other has a small fee. The free one is fairly decent, the other is much better if you don't paying for your apps. Just search Ballistic calculator in the Apps section of your droid.

There is a free one from Winchester. Search "Winchester Ballistics Calculator" in the Apple App Store. Not as comprehensive but like I said: it's free.

There is a ballistics app for android called 'Shooter' for $10.

The developer is active on the snipershide forum and there is a lengthy thread running on the subject. The developer has made a number of improvements as request by the membership and seems open to supporting the product going forward. Thread title over there is,
'Introducing "Shooter", ballistics for Android!'

That said, I sure like the looks of that Iphone app, but I can only afford one smartphone.
