Noticed the other day some copper build up at the end/middle of my barrel. Well it looks like copper....brown/gold color thought the barrel..maybe about 250 rounds though it so far...any concern?

No concern.

Just clean it occasionally.

If you think copper is an issue, use something with ammonia.

I suspect your worries are 'much to do about nothing'

My opinion, of course.

While the dedicated copper solvents will work, so will good ole Hoppe's #9. Run patches dripping with solvent through and leave wet overnight. Should come out in the morning. If really gunked up, plug one end and pour the barrel full and let sit overnight.

Just out of curiousity, are you using one of those 'all in one' CLP products? While they work, they really don't do any of the functions well.

copper solvent

Try MPRO7 copper remover. It works quickly, depending on the severity of the copper. I would apply the solvent and wait about three minutes and then run a clean patch through the barrel and see what the color is showing. If it still blue or green, apply the same procedure and determine the color. It should remove the copper after one or two applications. I have never had a probelm with the solvent and use MPRO7 products for a number of years.
