Most years Turner Classic Movies does a segment on those we lost in the cinema industry through the year. It is usually called "TCM Remembers" and the year. Last year it was put up on their website so you could view it for evermore. It is beautifully put together and is often the last time you will see some of those people. The tune used during the montage was the haunting "Before You Go" by OK Sweetheart, a particularly poignant tune for me as I lost my wife in 2011. Here is a link to the TCM piece.

If you are not moved by that....
Somehow I managed to miss the 2012 video so I went looking for it on the TCM site and elsewhere. I could not find it or any of the places I did look had links saying the video was private
. After some digging I found out that TCM had to pull it due to some rights issue. 
What a slap in the face for those that passed, it just really frosts me that such a superb tribute to the great and small and the industry cannot be seen anymore. I mean, really, how much money was it costing somebody because their piece (or maybe the music) is used in a farewell piece. It just makes me so angry....
