CORE red dot question

So I traded for a CORE 9mm and so far I like the gun a lot, I did some research and I was counting on using my CORE for my car/carry winter type handgun. The problem is that experts say no to leave red dots in the car during hot or cold weather so that was a buzz kill for me, an other thing that I have a question about is how difficult are double tapps with red dots?

Double taps no problem. To get used to finding the dot, just look for your front sight as usual. I wouldn't worry about heat or cold. If you get a cheap one maybe. You think any were left in vehicles over in the sand box?
