Correct grips??

I am looking for the correct model of grips that came on my pistol, it is a S&W 17-6 blued revolver with a 4 inch heavy underlug barrel made in the mid 90's. I believe these aren't seen that often (not rare, just not seen often). Mine is square butt but supposedly came with rounded finger groove grips. S&W was not much help as they said "we no longer manufacture hand grips, see Altamont Grips." I have searched some and can't find a pic. Any help with a pic of the appropriate grips would be greatly appreciated.

That is a hard grip to find and typically very expensive.

That I am coming to realize.
Is there a stock number or part number for the one that came with it.

Any part number or stock number would only be valid ordering through S&W and I guess that’s not going to happen. The stocks you want are referred to as K frame square butt combat stocks/grips.
