What is the proper nomenclature for the solid machined part of the bottom of a slide that feeds the next round from the loaded magazine into the chamber of the pistol?

Thanks in advance!

When discussing 1911 nomenclature, I've also heard that pick up area referred to as the "disconnector rail", and "cocking rail". (or cocking lug)

I am familiar with the action of the slide as it extracts, and ejects the spent case. Then the recoil spring pulls the slide forward, stripping a new round from the magazine and chambering it. What I need to know is the name of the part that grabs the next round and pushes it up the ramp so the breech can push and lock it into battery! I have heard it called the feeder bar, grabber bar, stripper, and various other names.

Breech face, or lower portion of breech face.

Here is what I could dig up on the internet regarding the OP question.
The part on the slide that engages with the rim of the next round in the magazine aand sends it up the ramp, is called: "Stripper rail." this according to the pdf doucument put out by the State of Washington.
