Hello, I am new to SW forum, retired from the US Navy. I recently acquired an old(1899) Hopkins & Allen revolver. It was designed to shoot black powder loads. It will shoot .32 S&W cowboy ammo. Where can I buy this ammo at? Several companies tell me that they are waiting for brass to load for .32S&W.
Thanks, oregon97016

Welcome to the forum and thank you for your service...

As said above, you can try Old Western Scrounger They are listing both 32 S&W Short and Long for $29.95/50 rounds. Dixie Gun Works is a good site but I don't think they carry loaded centerfire ammo. If you're going to shoot a nice old revolver like that you might consider relolading as a new hobby. It's going to get very expensive to shoot at $30 a box...

The US Cartridge Company might have what you're looking for too but the price is even higher.

Have you considered getting into reloading? It does require an initial investment, but less so for black powder. You would only need a small press, dies, and a few other tools. You could pay off the equipment in less than 10 boxes of ammunition from the savings. You will also have a much more stable source of ammunition for your gun.
