Not sure what to say about this? 😝
Actually I am, goofy looking!
Solves a problem I guess, but there are other solutions available, that anyone on this forum or others with a similar theme would know! 😉
-Solution looking for a problem?
-Awareness of your surroundings!
-CCW or open carry if available
-Various objects, like canes, walking sticks, baseball bats, etc.
Guess a coyotevest would work if you depend on others as a certain group of people might, but????????

My parents just found out that a coyote killed at least one small dog and a cat in the yard behind their fence and their next door neighbor has four small dogs who spend unsupervised time in her fenced in back yard.
These are properties which are less than one tenth of an acre each n a small city thigh close enough to public parks that deer cross through the properties on a regular basis.
There have also been reports of very small animals being taken by Hawks (or similarly large birds of prey)

Kinda dig the idea except for those color things. Should have more and bigger metal spikes!!!!

Would I buy it? No. No reason to. We don't really have coyotes. I think I've seen one in my state, and that was like 40 miles from my house......it could have been a dog though. And I don't leave my dog unsupervised

I once watched a multiple dog-coyote confrontation (yes I intervened before it became serious). The coyotes spent all their effort trying to hamstring the smallest dog. Those wonderful outfits would offer no protection at all. They look good, however!

I invested in 22 magnum ammo and snares. After 5 coyotes down by dog Abbie and I can enjoy a beer and cigar on my 200 acres at midnight. OH, she doesn't drink beer or smoke- need to politically correct.

You'll notice they don't have an actual picture of one on a cat . . .

Barney is always in Cooper's Condition Orange whereas Squirt is blissfully unaware in condition "rub my belly" white. :D

I'd consider the spike collar and maybe the vest but the neon quills would embarrass Barney to death and Squirt would have nothing to do with anything that interferes with his belly rubs. :D

Don't know, pulled it off the internet.

I have a WPG that looks just like this dog.

Thay don't like coyotes one little bit.

We have a few around here. They steer clear.

If you have a coyote problem a GWP or WPG will take care of it.

Collar from Silver Mine near Aspen

I have this one from the 1870's found in the mountains south of Aspen. The leather needs replacing. No doubt used to protect the camp dog from predators one or two notches above coyotes.

It is just a "no bite" collar.

Like it?
