At my local gun shop and he had a item he called NEW OLD STOCK , it was a S&W 915 the gun was perfect in every way priced at 450, I know this was over priced but I also knew I would never find another like it in my area, it came with the blue plastic box with all info on it , 2 -10 round mags , manual , warranty card etc,I have seen lots of 3rd generation pistol but none like this one ,he would not budge on the price , I just could not pass on it so it came home with me.

You just purchased an accurate reliable pistol with a good trigger that looks good too.
While $450 for a used 915 might be high, I don't think you did badly at all for a NIB example. The 915 is possibly the most underated high cap 9mm extant.
Besides, have you seen the asking prices on less accurate, cheaply made ugly 9mm guns with lousy triggers? And you won't be wasting any additional money on Apex parts to give your gun what it should have come from the factory with.

This is one of the finest examples of this pistol I have ever seen, thus my purchase even knowing the price was on the high side but the way gun prices are today it wont take long for the price to catch up with the current market

The 915 is the value line version of the 59xx series 3rd generation firearms. $450.00 for a NIB example is very reasonable. They originally came with 15 round magazines, so if you live in a state without magazine limits and can find magazines for the 59xx guns, they'll fit.
