Crimson Trace grip on a 627

Has anyone tried the LG-314 on a 627?

How bulky is it compared to the Hogue grips from the factory? What does it do to perceived recoil?

I have the same interest, because I have a 627 coming in a week or so, and I'm interested in the Crimson Trace grip also.
