I'm undecided on which to go with for my M&P Shield.

What do you guys think?

Couple of the biggest differences between the N8² & other hybrids:
- backing material
- 1 clip (N8), 1 or 2 clips Crossbreed depending on which one

An active life style while carrying might suggest 2 clip Crossbreed a better choice as it won't move around as much.

Your physical size/build might suggest the N8 a better choice for comfort.

I have an AlienGear Hybrid and love it. But I hear/read the N8 may be more comfortable.

I can't imagine how the N8 is comfortable. Only 1 clip and in the center? And no combat cut or whatever it's called. You want the backing to be bellow the grip so that you can get your fingers around it. Otherwise your body just ends up pushing the backing into the grip and you have to fight yourself to you hand around the grip

I have a Crossbreed for my M&P 9c & 45 c that I have used for years. Most times I don't even know I'm wearing it. I recently bought a N8² for my 45c after reading the advertisements. After one week I sent it back and got a refund. Because it has only one clip it would move and shift position. It wasn't nearly as comfortable as my CB and bothered me all day. Got a refund no questions asked, which I appreciated.

I have crossbreed minitucks for a couple of different pistols,I recently bought a 9 mm Shield and thought I would save a few bucks with an Alien gear hybrid.Needless to say I wore it for a day gave it to my son in law and ordered a Crossbreed minituck for my Shield .IMHO the Crossbreed is worth twice the price of the Alien gear holster.

I never heard of Alien before today and I went and looked at their website...got interested in buying one for my wife's M&P 9c. I am curious why you didn't like the Alien...it looks pretty similar to the CB.

Another reason I didn't like the N8² Original Tuckable Holster was that it was very difficult to re-holster. The material was soft and would collapse once the gun was removed.

After 2 weeks, decided I didn't like the draw of my N82 Pro with Shield 9. I did try to like it, but in the end, not so much. Very comfy, but also didn't like the single belt clip. Made the profile to big for me. Moved too much on the draw. Got a Hybrid Hidden Holster on the way. We'll see if it's what I'm hoping for.
