Crusty diamond magnas...what vintage?

At the gun show this past weekend, I picked up these crusty K-frame diamond magna stocks.

I think they'll clean up reasonably. What time frame are these from? Serial number stamped inside is 225027.

I paid $6.

My guess is mid 1950s.

Oh, you have the SN. That'll be easy to figure out, then, using the SCSW. I imagine someone will be along soon and look it up for you.

The serial number range K225XXX was manufactured in late 1954, but likely shipped the next year.

I didn't mean I could make them perfect or anything! Just...cleaner. And maybe not so dry. They'll never be showroom fresh again, sadly. But then, neither are the guns I tend to buy!
