Can one of you CS-1 3" owners tell me what the factory height is of the front and rear sights? Mine has sights that have been replaced but, I want the gun back to original condition. I know the front sight will have to be shaved down for the narrower channel which isnt a problem.
TIA
William

Can't find my depth gauge at the moment but using my dial caliper I measure 0.276 of the front site exposed above the base.
Don't know what you mean about the rear. It would be adjusted up, or down, depending on the distance shooting.

Thanks Bob. S&W has multiple rear sight blade heights they offer because sometimes you cant go low or high enough with just the elevation screw. So far I have found 9 different rear blade heights on midwayusa.com ranging from .086 - .196.

Would a close up picture help you? Don't think my caliper is going to be much good on the rear.

Anything could help. It would be much appreciated.

Here ya go. Hope it helps.
