CS40 magazines

I've looked on the web but can't find mags for the smith and wesson cs40. Anyone know where they can be found? I'm looking at a stainless cs40 at a local shop, but it only has one mag. If I can't find ma g s I'm probably going to pass. Help me if you can.

I picked up 2 used spares when I got mine. Haven't seen any since, that was 2 years ago.

CS40s' can and are converted to 10mm. So the CS40 magazines have a dual desirability,for CS40s' and for converted CS40-CS10. The magazine is basically converted by removing the internal back rib spacer. I watch for them and they're one of the more difficult ones to obtain.

If the acknowledged "King of 3rd Gen Magazines" can't find them (or at least can't find very many), no one can!

I was pleased as punch when I found a couple of them back in April without having to pay a king's ransom. It's extremely rare that I get that lucky.

Keep an eye on that big auction site that we can't mention. I've seen some this year go in the mid-$30 range... although I've also seen mid-$50's too. It's all about good timing and good luck.

I would truly be the 'King of 3rd Gen Mags' if I also bought online/web/auction sites/web stores. I ONLY buy at gun shows.If I can't physically see it/them in person,I'm not interested. I've seen MANY mags online that I'd like,such as CS40s',let the people that buy online acquire them.

It is possible to do well on-line... but you really do have to pay attention and have a whole lot of patience. I could post some 3rd Gen examples but we have all seen them. Right now, 4013/4053 magazines are way down to half or less what they were going for earlier this year. Too bad I didn't wait!
