CS45 Grip Conversion?

Picked up a nice CS45 and was disappointed to learn that Big Dog is no longer converting 3rd Gen grips to fit the CS series.

A few weeks ago I sent a set of 4506 grips and my CS45 to the gunsmith I use (large outfit in Minn that can do the most complex gunsmithing jobs) and asked them to fit the grips, they advised they couldn't do it.

With Big Dog out of the CS grips business, is there anyone else who is converting these grips for the CS45? Barring that, could someone describe the steps & measurements to do it myself?

Also can someone who has a set of Big Dog grips post a pic or pics showing the inside of the grips & any pertinent details of the conversion?

Try the link below from a forum member. I was lucky enough to have mine made by BigDog but these instructions make it appear as though, with a little patience, one could easily construct a pair of these grips for themselves. Good luck!
